Privacy Policy

YaoFlow has no sign-up, no login, no advertising, and no third-party ad trackers. Even our site analytics is self-hosted — the data never leaves our server.

After a purchase we do keep your reading (see §4) so you can return to it via your link, but we do not mine your questions for ad targeting.

Your question and cast: used to generate the reading. For paid readings, the question, line values, and resulting text are retained with that payment record so you can revisit the reading via your link.

Payment information: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe collects your email and payment method under its own privacy policy.

One-matter-one-cast history: to remind you not to re-ask the same question, your recent questions and hexagram names are stored in your own browser's localStorage and never sent to our server. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Server logs: IP address and request time, kept briefly to prevent abuse and debug failures.

DeepSeek provides the language model that writes the reading. Your question and the computed chart are sent to it for processing under its privacy policy. Please do not include names, government IDs, medical records, passwords, or similar sensitive details in your question — describe the situation; identity is never needed.

Stripe handles payment, tax, and fraud protection.

Beyond these necessary providers, we do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

Casts that are not paid for are never stored on our server. They exist only in your browser at the time.

Paid readings are kept indefinitely: your question, the cast and its full chart, the reading text, any follow-up conversation, and the associated order and checkout email. This is what lets you return to your reading via your link, and lets us find that cast if you write to us about it.

We use this data to improve the quality of readings and to understand which kinds of questions people bring (career, relationships, money, and so on). We do not sell, publish, or hand your questions to advertisers.

You can ask us to delete it at any time. Write to ripgtxgt@gmail.com with your reading link or checkout email, and we will delete the corresponding records and confirm.

Our server is in Japan, AI processing is performed by DeepSeek (mainland China), and payment by Stripe (United States and its global infrastructure). Using the site means you understand and accept this. If you would rather your question not be processed this way, please do not submit it.
